Welcome to the Dinky Toys Collectors' Association’s Website.

If you have any interest in Dinky Toys, you'll enjoy this website. The Association organises meetings, produces a quarterly magazine (“The Journal”) and has links with a number of other organisations. We have many international members - join us! Parts of this site are reserved for members, including articles providing the latest research and discoveries in Dinky Toys, a Members’ Forum, Archive Documents (including scans of many factory drawings and catalogues) and Dinky Toys Wiki (encyclopedia). You can access samples of the quality and depth of content here, or via the What's in the Members' Section menu option at the left.

Existing members need to register to access the Members' content. Go to the "Website Registration" page in the "Join, Register or Renew" option in the menu at the left.

The DTCA is a non-profit-making organisation, founded to stimulate interest and facilitate communication among collectors of Dinky Toys, Hornby Series Modelled Miniatures and accessories as manufactured by Meccano Ltd. in its British and overseas factories up to 1979.

We wish you a very warm welcome to the DTCA website. We are continually adding content. If you are an existing DTCA member, we encourage you to register to use the Website with us, so you can gain access to the member-only content (including The articles, posting to the Forum and Wiki).

If you are not an existing DTCA member, please feel free to look around the Public Section of the site and the samples we have provided of our content, see what the DTCA is all about and perhaps apply for membership. We have added some galleries in the Public section showing some rare Dinky Toys.









We have recently been fortunate in getting a donation of material from Mike Richardson which include copies of many of the factory drawings that were used in his book, the Great Book of Dinky Toys. We are currently adding these to our document archive and these scans provide much more information that was published in the Great Book. 







There is read access to the Members' Forum for the public. Everybody can read the posts and can subscribe to an RSS feed  but you need to join, pay a subscription and also register to have write access.


Full membership includes all benefits and site access and a quarterly Journal mailed to the member's home address. This costs £15 (UK), £21 (Europe) and £24 (rest of the World) and runs for a calendar year (January to December)

Membership can be paid via PayPal or a cheque drawn on a UK bank account can be sent by using the paper forms available for download.
